Sites with banner adverts(1)

 

I don't really want to get into a long discussion about whether banner adverts are a good thing or a bad thing. The plain fact of the matter is, some of you don't like visiting sites that use banner adverts or pop-up windows. If you are one of those people, you may prefer to visit the page of advert-free sites.

If you are prepared to put up with some banner adverts or pop-ups, you'll find a lot of sites with pictures of Jo here. Read on...

 

A note about "thumbnails"

Many of the sites use preview images (thumbnails) to allow you to judge whether you want to see the picture without downloading it all: this saves you time when viewing the list of images. Unfortunately, some sites just send you the whole picture and instruct your browser to display it at a reduced size - this obviously doesn't save you any time. I have indicated all such sites in the list below.

 

PLEASE NOTE

Several of these sites contain depictions of partial or full nudity. If you are not of a legal age to view such pictures, or if you feel you may be offended by such pictures, please leave now.

Note on the "Picture sets": I have started to list which sites have individual picture sets online (as opposed to just having an eclectic selection of pictures). Remember that in many cases these picture sets will be INCOMPLETE and you may need to look further afield for the missing pictures.

 

Sites with pop-up windows

The following sites don't have any adverts on the pages themselves, but the web hosting service causes a pop-up advert to appear when you visit the site.

Tip: Disable Javascript before visiting any of these sites. That way you won't be pestered with the pop-up adverts.

These sites use banner adverts on the pages themselves, so although disabling Javascript might stop any other pop-up windows you're still going to be pestered with on-screen ads.
